Home Property Law, a specialist practice of Beyond Law Group, has announced the appointment of two highly regarded residential property specialists, Mark Lynn and Scott Oakley, as it continues its rapid growth trajectory.
Both based in Manchester but operating nationally, Mark joins as Partner and Scott as Associate Partner, bringing extensive experience, deep industry connections and a shared reputation for delivering exceptional client service. Originally from the North East, the duo add not only technical strength but also a dynamic energy and personality that aligns with Home Property Law’s ambitious growth plans.
Both joined from Knights, with Mark bringing over 20 years’ experience in residential property matters, having handled thousands of transactions ranging from high-value properties and complex legal issues to land development projects. Scott joins with over a decade of experience advising on all aspects of residential property and also advises a range of French-speaking clients, drawing on experience gained at a bespoke French law firm.
Their arrival expands Home Property Law’s senior leadership to four partners, led by Head of Conveyancing Cordelia Grassby, further strengthening the practice’s position as a leading, modern conveyancing practice.
Home Property Law is widely recognised for redefining the conveyancing model, combining specialist legal expertise with a client-centric, technology-enabled approach that prioritises speed and service quality. As part of Beyond Law Group, the practice operates within a collective of specialist practices designed to challenge traditional legal delivery and provide a more tailored, high-performance service to clients.
Commenting on the appointments, Cordelia Grassby said: “We are absolutely delighted to welcome Mark and Scott to Home Property Law. Amanda McAlister, Head of Consumer at Beyond Law Group, added: “These appointments are another important step in our strategy to scale Home Property Law into a truly standout national conveyancing brand. Mark and Scott not only enhance our technical capability but also strengthen our relationships across the property sector. Bringing in talent of this calibre reinforces our position as a forward-thinking alternative to traditional firms.”
